“We know the hotel can't control the weather, but we were surprised by the lack of effort to offer some kid friendly activities with 4 straight days of rain. Other issues we encountered: 1) our shower looked like it was never cleaned. The same 2 pieces of hair were stuck on the tile when we arrived and left. Lots of mold too. 2) my husband took my tween daughters to the gym with him (since we were all going stir crazy from the 3rd straight day of rain!) They were rudely informed at the desk……

The historic property was beautifully restored and clearly very well cared for by innkeeper Veronica and her team. Veronica's gourmet breakfasts were a huge treat, different every morning, and served with attention to every detail in the elegant dining room. Veronica was happy to share suggestions on activities and restaurants in the area.……

“Although the townhouse is not located right on the beach, all you have to do is walk the length of 2 houses, cross a street and walk on a short boardwalk to the sand. The beach is very open and we were there when it really wasn't beach season so it was very empty and great for walking. The townhouse is very spacious and well appointed. Everything seemed like it was almost new! David is an excellent host and we had a few questions which he answered immediately. This was our first time going……
