Food in the on-site restaurant, and MANY conversations with people that ENJOY working there... DELIGHTFUL! I was solo for my visit. “Very clean and nicely furnished for such an old property. Our room could have used a good scrubbing on the bathroom floors b/c the grout and tiles were dirty. The shower could use re-caulking around the glass shower door where it meets the bathtub to get rid of a bit of mold, and the tiles in the shower could need to be sprayed with Tilex and scrubbed. Those are all minor things, but could improve the room a lot. Overall, very satisfied. ”

“Butler House speaks of itself: a house with the amazing management of a great butler - the result of the dedication of the owner, Paul and his wife. Paul was so friendly and though he was always busy at the breakfast room, he always checked if we needed help Our room was spacious, clean and tidy and offered everything we need.The kitchen is big and we enjoyed cooking there. I used their washing machine and dryer and detergent and softener were available. Highly recommended for couples……
