"This hotel is a beautiful boutique place in downtown Vancouver, opposite International Village and a couple minutes walk from Chinatown skytrain station. The room was alot larger than we were expecting and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful, we loved the coffee, and complimentary breakfast was unexpected and appreciated.
The history of this building provided by the person who checked us in was interesting to learn about. The art of the residents was also beautiful to see and learn about. We would definitely stay here again.
Some will say it is in a bad area and homeless people etc... While it is true that sometimes homeless people are around we did not see any near the hotel during our stay, nor does it negate the convenience and comfort of the hotel itself. Visitors to Vancouver should be aware that yes there is a large homeless population but no it isn’t dangerous. If you want a 5star hotel with security who keep the streets outside the door clear for your grand entrance then go and seek that out.
Thabk you to the hotel for a delightful overnight stay"
"Lovely hotel located in the midst of everything! Great restaurant in the hotel
And a wonderful Italian place across the street.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable. With wonderful ambiance! Would definitely stay here again "
"The only feedback about the place is that it's not in a safe neighborhood 😕. Too many homeless and drugs in the are so you should be cautious at all times.
The hotel and staffs are all amazing and we loved our stay. Very clean and all brand new. Location is great other than the drugs and homeless people.
We highly recommend this place."
"Okay hotel, close to all local amenities, friendly staff, a pool, the few fitness machines could do with an upgrade along with some aircon in that area."
"Marites celle étant responsable de notre chambre était une perle, vraiment excellente.
Le personnel complet de la zone Gold est plus que parfait.
A chaque fois que nous allons a Vancouver, c’est notre hôtel on se sent chez nous ! "
"Only down fall was telling them Id check in at 1pm and when getting to hotel was told rooms not ready til 4pm and i could change to a room without a view "
"Wonderful experience overall! Great location with stunning views. The host was excellent at making sure we were taken care of and answering all my questions."
"Cons-They are bunk beds. When the person on the top bunk moves, you feel it on the bottom bunk. (Shakes a lot) The rooms were hot with no option to open a window. There was a stand alone fan that was used. But a little war on positioning w the other bunk mates. Someone would get hot and turn it towards them, and continued throughout the night. Weekends are loud as there’s a saloon/bar underneath-attached. So bring earplugs.
Pros- A couple of blocks down is the famous steam clock, shopping, and dining options. $2 oysters, limit a dozen, souvenirs and regular shopping, several bars and outdoor cafes. Easy walk to convention center, ship terminals, shopping, and parks. Can use an app and get a bike and ride around or walk. Abt a 30 min walk to Stanley park "
