Pros - charming, beautiful, cozy, kind of historic, very "Austrian", delicious food, beautiful view. Many things to do on the property - fitness, yoga, pools, snowshoeing, cross country ski,(obviously we were here in winter ) , complimentary tea and cookies in the afternoon. Lots of Trapp family and Sound of Music memorabilia throughout the lodge.
Cons - If you're a Sound of Music fan, you'll be very disappointed to find out that the "Trapp Family Lodge" is not full of Trapp family working...

Located on the north end of the busy Mountain Road corridor, the Innsbruck Inn is a mere few hundred yards from the northern terminus of the Stowe Recreation Path. With two hot tubs, an outdoor heated pool, indoor sauna, and a complimentary hot breakfast served daily, it is clear that the owners value guest experience above all else. We really enjoyed this property. The grounds were beautiful and having the trail system was a definite perk. The location was perfect for getting on the recreational trail and walking or riding bikes to dinner. The service was great and very friendly. The room was comfortable and efficient. The only very minor points is that the chairs on the balcony were far too short to actually see anything if you used them. The chairs were about a foot off the ground but the balcony had a 4-foot solid wall...

Water pressure for days in one of the suites! The rest of the suite was great, no issues except for the hot tub being out of order. I was happy to actually be able to wash my long thick hair, which I usually cannot do at hotels.

Hotel was great, grounds were lovely, pool area has a great vibe and is a fun space to relax. Bar has good drink options. Good place to bring your family for a get away. Housekeeping could be a little more thorough, had to call to get trashes emptied. Other than that everything was great, will be going back.
