"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Tiny House. It was cozy and comfortable for the two of us, and the view of the bay was wonderful. We also thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit. The neighborhood was quiet, and not too far from Bar Harbor / Acadia. There is also a nice little bakery 10 minutes away."

"Down East day trip locale perfected! Bring your whole family and rent all three suites. The hosts have accomplished absolute magic in their herculean efforts to make this building a draw for the town. They succeeded wildly, with only a few new-lodging quirks to work out. The design is just enough, with subtle details somehow receding into the character of the moment rather than feeling obvious and cliché. We have been waiting for years to see what might be accomplished here, with not high hopes....

"Our family of 5 had a great stay here. House is exactly as advertised and the lake is beautiful. Kids loved swimming (note you do have to navigate some boulders by the dock), playing on the kayaks and canoe, fishing, and making s’mores by the fire pit. Also loved seeing and listening to the loons (and spotted a bald eagle one afternoon). Supermarket nearby for most grocery needs and also great lobster nearby. "The cottage was nice for what we needed which was a place to shower and sleep. It was a little further from Acadia National Park (about 45 minute drive one-way). Allen was very kind and welcoming. The grounds were in need of some care and we are pretty sure there was a mouse in the cottage."

"The cabin was fantastic. It was the perfect place to stay for me and my dog. The hosts were wonderful and helped me whenever I needed questions answered. It was very tastefully decorated. They had everything I needed in both the bathroom and kitchen. The grounds and gardens were absolutely beautiful. Weaver's across the street was very convenient. I would highly recommend! I look forward to coming back."

Fantastic place. Super clean!
"This is the very best Inn of this type I have ever stayed in. The tub was shiny!! So clean and beautiful. I've never stayed at another Motel style place that had such a nice bathroom, it even had a mirror that could be pulled out to view the back of your head or to flip the side to see in magnification. Wow! And we loved the retro style fridge. The freezer part worked great to keep our ice packs for our trip back home. Staff was so friendly. We will definitely stay their again and tell all our friends. "
