"We had a beautiful week in Lubec. House had everything we needed, and more. Spent our first few days relaxing and listening to music, great CD collection. Bed was comfortable and it was great to wake up and have coffee and look out over the water."

We only had two adults staying a few nights for work travel (pretending it was a girls week lol) but I could see it comfortably fitting lots of people as there was so much space! "We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house at the end of Water Street. It is ideally suited for viewing of the Old Sow turbulence. I don't think there could be a better viewpoint from the American side. There are at least three lighthouses which can be seen from the house, and both the rising and setting of the sun. And then there's the Bald Eagle which likes to sit on Dog Island and think about life for hours every day."

"This home was outstanding in ALL aspects. First of all, communication with the host both before we arrived and during our stay was so friendly and heartfelt. "Can only say it was a great week...house was clean and supplied with all the kitchen items we needed. Full refrig was great as we bought most of our food for the week. Furniture and Bed was very comfortable. Decks were the best!! No internet but our cell phone did work to our surprise. Low Tide we could walk the beach for quite a ways-found lots of sea glass...kayaked...walked in the water by the shore. Only bummer we didn't build a fire on the beach but kindling etc was provided! "We were a group of 7 people (3 adults, 4 children aged 11-14). The home was clean and user friendly. There are 5 bedrooms, 3 with queens, 1full, 1 room with 2 singles. The two bathrooms are small, as you would expect for plumbing tucked into a 1790 house, but adequate. We found the small kitchen to be mostly well stocked- it could use a small saucepan and/or kettle. "This was a terrific get away! At first we weren’t sure when our requested cabin suddenly was not available, but, wow, it was so peacefully awesome. I didn’t want to leave and go back to reality! "Take time to explore the hidden gems and quirks at Rossport farm! The trails are a joy to walk. Ross was a wonderful and available host. He gave us the grand tour in his golf cart. The kayaking was stellar. Enjoyed fires every night. Spend time looking around the Big Red Barn! So much to see. The cottage is old, albiet works well for accommodations. We walked to town each day. Highly recommend the whale watch tour. Beware that short staffing currently has most restaurants closed until Wednesdays...

"A "blind" rental. I only knew I wanted to get way away. Downeast Maine is beautiful, so yes, Eastport. This stay far exceeded my expectations. The views!! Area activities: Diver Ed! Whale watches! The Old Sow! Eastport itself! Digging clams!! Beachcombing! Just hanging out with my favorite people... I'm booking now for next year!"
