"This home was compact, but very clean and had many thoughtful touches like well-placed night lights, a good bread knife, etc. The hosts checked in with us to be sure we had no problems and we were doing fine. The home is on a highway, so there is a bit road noise, but it is located so that neither Copper Harbor or Houghton seemed too far to go. The house book had some good recommendations for restaurants and we had a nice meal at Fitzgerald's. It was great to have the ability to do some laundry...

"This property looked even better than the pictures ! Beautifully maintained and well stocked. It took us 45 minutes to get there from Houghton due to inclement weather which was not ideal. I was under the impression that it was going to be closer to Michigan Tech."

Every room was incredibly clean and well appointed for our group, and the beds were wonderfully comfortable. Communication with Jill was easy and pleasant. "Excellent stay at Northwinds Adventure at the "Love Palace"...Plenty of room for the family to relax and hang out, play games, etc...Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals...wifi worked great...plenty of towels in the bathrooms...fireplace was a bonus, too cold to spend time outside, so I cannot speak to lake/beach amenities, about a 10 minute drive to MTU...overall great stay, would recommend, would stay again. Thank you!"

"We went to Calumet for a girl's weekend. It did not disappoint. We enjoyed the downtown - some really great authentic antique stores and shops. The coffee shop was fabulous. The property location is fabulous - just a mile from downtown. Great deck to chill on. Price was fabulous - there were four of us and we each had our own room/tons of space to just spread out and relax at night. Amenities were great/we had what we needed to cook, etc. Our weekend was affordable, fun and authentic. Couldn't...
