Great Place!

The hotel is a bit away from the city and the beach, but has very good food at a reasonable price. The pool is great, the hotel is quiet. Beds are comfortable. We did 3 nights here and 4 at the beach, it was great mix, allowing us to see the city and Chichen Itxa and Tulum saving money but having a great stay!

Thank you for your comments it is great that you enjoyed our location and took the chance to visit Chichen Itza and Tulum, two of the many archeological sites close to CanCun City.

Nice hotel, near ADO bus station (5-7 min walk)

Good quality ratio, beach transfer, free access to Mandala beach club, aeroport transfer free or very cheap. Big and clean room has everything you need plus coffee pot, iron. Notice - there is no fredge in the room

Great hotel in heart of downtown Cancun.

No crazy "party" hotel this. Geared toward travelers who enjoy a quiet night. Great shuttle to the beach and to the airport. Rooms very clean & comfortable.

Nice hotel in the inside and out

Posted Feb 26, 2017
The hotel is in a residential area but the outside of the hotel is nice as well as all of the inside. The rooms show a bit of age but only if you really look at all the details

Not my favorite

Our non smoking room had a very strong cigarette smell. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The facility was clean and the pool area is nice

Great hotel but we were treated as commodities.

Posted Feb 17, 2017
Pros: The room, pool, dining area, pool side dining, music group on Feb 14th.
Cons: Accomodating those who have physical disabilities, not changing the price of the room when an extension of the booking is requested.
Location: Short taxi rides to many popular areas.
We booked 2 nights, and on arrival asked about staying for 5 more. They said that would be OK. After 2 nights we went to book the 5 nights and discovered a convention was booked....they were full...and they didn't want us any longer. Also our room was blocks from the front entrance and we had asked for a closer room as I had a re-occurance of a severe heart problem just before flying to Mexico. Seeing a cardiologist here, he said I needed to rest among other things. Adhara said they had no closer rooms for us and if we did stay we would be required to pay a lot more. When we said we couldn't stay on under those conditions we were taken by the Adhara staff to a travel agency on site and re-booked into another hotel. Arriving at the 2nd. hotel we found our room was on the 2nd floor with the only access being a flight and 1/2 of stairs. The next day we found another hotel on our own and tried to book out of the 2nd hotel..then we were told by the booking travel agency they would not cancel or refund our money for the 3 nights we had left of our booking. I am almost dead from exhaustion brought on by too much exercise and way too much stress. We loved hotel Adhara but this experience was not a happy one.
