“The hotel is really old, which probably explains the poor soundproofing. The bedding was also super uncomfortable, so I didn’t sleep well at all. Worse, I woke up with red rashes all over my body. Compared to other hotels nearby, this place is just not worth the price. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it. ”

“We have stayed at a few hotels across from the beach in Cape May and this hotel is by far my favorite. The location is perfect for walking to nearby shops and restaurants. It was easy to walk across the street to the beach and the pool was heated for taking a dip after the beach. The room and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating while they honored our requests for beach chairs and bikes. I really loved it here.”

“The home is beautifully furnished and luckily we were able to book a room , in a practically ocean front location, at the last minute (week days) because the summer season is not yet in full swing. My partner’s family lives in Cape May and so the area and guest services are well known. We chose this place not for its close proximity to the beach, but because of the glowing reviews about the wonderful daily breakfasts. We were not disappointed in anyway. “I had no problem with the Victorian B&B, it was very nice. But when Expedia shows a picture of the home, I feel it should be the place you are staying in. It wasn’t the house in the picture, it was a place across the street. I felt that was very deceiving. The one in the picture had a beautiful wrap around porch and was the main building. The other house was not as nice.”

“The room was absolutely beautiful and pristine! Beautiful modern design choices, with lovely extra touches (cocktail set, nice kitchen appliances, etc). The partnership with the beach concierge was amazing — just walk across the street and they set up an umbrella and chairs for you. The beach is super close and gorgeous, and everything in town is a 5-15 min walk away. We didn't get in our car once all weekend! Great location, great rooms, and every room has a spacious balcony or front porch.……
