"Our daughter goes to SIU Carbondale so we travel there often. When we do we stay at this hotel. The price is reasonable, and the hotel's quality is better than some other options in town. That said, the overall property (e.g., hallways, stairwells) needs a good cleaning. The bedding is clean and their complimentary breakfast is about typical for these hotels."

"Oak Manor was the best house we have ever rented - and we have rented many. The whole experience was excellent. The house was spacious. The decor was beautiful. Every kind of amenity was available. Betsy was wonderful in her role as host. We loved the outside porches, caught fish in the ponds and generally had a great time. Please be advised that we are already planning our next trip to Oak Manor!"
