Cardiff-by-the-Sea Residences

- The hot breakfast (which I didn't know it was included in mine) was awesome. They had egg-based meal, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, bread, orange juice, and more (and yes, everything was hot and delicious) - Parking (self-covered) will be just $10, which I think is a really reasonable price. - The place is quiet and safe. In front of the place there are two gas stations; both walkable. I arrived at the hotel late and went there like 10PM but never felt unsafe. - The staffs were extremely...

Great place just needs some updates. Anthony was great!

Excellent

Great location with good parking. I enjoyed the walk to Beacon Park and Grandview beach access points. (Both have long steep descents; people with mobility challenges may need to drive to get to easier access.) Nice clean room with kitchenette. Friendly staff.

Stayed here for one night after a concert & was happy to have found this place. The rooms were tidy, the staff was kind & friendly. Very quiet hotel. Perfect for a good night's sleep. Highly recommend!

Staff were EXEMPLARY!!! Every staff person went above and beyond to assist us. It became obvious early on, that their most important mission was satisfying the customer!!!

Excellent accommodations; clean and comfortable rooms, safe and convenient parking and excellent breakfast

Beautiful updated oceanfront patio with lounges, chairs and umbrellas that overlook the beach 🏖️. Watching the waves and families enjoying the surf while sipping a cold drink ( available onsite). This hotel is literally on the sand‼️ You can’t stay closer to the beach than the Del Mar Hotel. There are 2 outstanding restaurants right next door. No need to drive anywhere, just relax and enjoy.

The room was clean and even though it's by an airport it was extremely quite and the bed was comfortable so we slept good. We were provided with great customer service and delicious breakfast! I would definitely stay again if in the area again!

This hotel has been a great place for us to stay on our trip to Legoland over the last few years.

As every parent knows, traveling with young children isn’t easy. Finding a reliable place to stay with child-friendly amenities is among the most significant obstacles. This hotel did everything it could to provide a safe environment and keep the kids occupied. In addition, they offered excellent breakfast free of charge. We spent one day in Lego land, on a nearby beach, and at Safari Park. My 6-year-old and I had a blast for 3 days and the best Thanksgiving holiday!! Many modern healthy eating...

The absolute QUIETEST hotel we have EVER stayed in, and the place was full of kids! Same exit as LegoLand so we expected kids and it to be loud. We stayed for an entire week and never heard anything! Occasionally hear the train, but was muffled. Staff was incredibly friendly, and I mean all of them! Even just passing in the hallways or elevators, they would great you and smile. Just not what we expected. Pool heater was not working, but the weather permitted cooler water anyway. Beach was just a...

All was superb until 10:30 pm, when the new guests on the room above us checked in/arrived. Children running stomping and yelling into the wee hours. Just to wake us up again at 7 am. They didnt seemed to be supervised, maybe lack of. Just a suggestion, please put family with children on bottom rooms.

My husband and I went for a little weekend getaway and the hotel was lovely. We had an ocean view room with a big balcony. It was surprisingly quiet. You can walk everywhere, we left our car parked the whole time. The hotel staff is so friendly!!

Great location

Very nice, clean. Loved that the bathroom light would turn on as you walked towards it. Shower was amazing. Ac/heater worked well and wifi was great! Microwave wasn't in the room but on the deck which was easy to get to. Wish it was warmer to swim in the pool! Loved the restaurants and things to do around the area and in walking distance. Would def stay at again!

Property felt new. It was clean and quiet. Breakfast was ok. Continental. As you would expect. Overall would stay here again without question.
