“Rooms were clean, check in was great the gentleman who checked us in provided great customer service and was very knowledgeable about the city and local events. I would give my experience 5 stars but there were 2 staff members that weren't nice. There was a manager who was yelling at a staff member and he didn't notice us standing there and stopped immediately when he did. Upon check out, the young lady at the front desk never acknowledged us and continued talking on the phone while checking us……

“The laundry facility was not in operation. That access was a big reason I chose this location as it was the second stop on my vacation. I had to find a local laundry service to handle my needs. Everything else was fine.”

“Will stay there again. Great location in Saint Paul. Walked to and from Harriet island.”

“There were soccer teams all over the hotel it was rated a 9.2 I'd give it maybe a 1.2 I reserved 2 rooms we weren't near one another. The pool was also on this floor. I wasn't impressed. The two men that work there were rude I feel we deserve to have $$ taken off our bill.”

“Great hotel, super nice staff that went out of their way to be helpful. The elevator made a weird noise at the top when it was about to stop. The doors were extremely heavy making it a little hard to open easily or close softly. Breakfast was good but not great in options. A little bit of garbage on floor but nice clean room and new looking.”

“This was the third time I stayed at this hotel absolutely love it. The rooms are fantastic. The building is very cool. Unfortunately the staff that I dealt with was not very friendly not very helpful. This was only at the front desk every time I ask you a question seemed like I was bothering her.”

“Traveled from Illinois. Upon arrival greeted warmly by registration. Quick process! Gave great suggestions for dinner within walking distance. As I was walking to my room, I was immediately impressed with the decor of Celeste Hotel and the wonderful maintenance of such an old building. Took pictures of all the beautiful artwork and the warm, cozy areas throughout building which invited quests to sit and relax. My room was spotless, and made me feel right at home! Perfect for any traveler,……

“Very friendly staff and helpful. They had trouble with the gate but resolved quickly.”

“Breakfast was good, but the room that was first assigned to us was still dirty from the group who just checked out. The front desk staff was nice enough to adjust and put us into two connecting rooms. What really disappointed us was the smell of the room, smells like the carpet was not cleaned for more than a year that you are not gonna want to drop anything on the floor. Location is close enough to downtown which is nice.”
