Second, we would have liked to have more hand and face towels; there was only one for both my wife and I. The location of the hotel is not that good, in that there is no way to walk to any place, like outside restaurants and shops, so we had to always take taxis. The breakfast buffet was mediocre." We travelled March 28 - April 4 2026\. 4 adults and 1 child. The resort was very clean everywhere you went - there was always staff cleaning the bathrooms, floors, restaurants. Pools were clean. The resort is fully updated and beautiful. We mostly ate at the buffet for ease - the food at the buffet was always hot, great selection, constantly restocked and rotated. Despite going during a very busy week at the hotel, they really know how to handle the crowd/that capacity. There were always loungers; there were always tables at the buffet to eat at; bartenders were relatively fast. The staff were always so kind and welcoming. Our favourite waiter at Liberia buffet was ROBINSON - he was attentive and so hard working - so great at his job and we appreciated it so much. Our 4 year old loved all the wild life and the water park. Beautiful, clean, safe beach! We also booked some excursions with Tours by Alan on the beach and had an amazing experience on both excursions. Highly recommend! We will be back Costa Rica!
