“The lodge sat upon a beautiful mountain side where the rabbits romed freely. The long gravel road with twist and turns was an adventure for those in our party who never experince mountain side living but by the the time we left they were old pro's and were really enjoying their adventure. The decor made you feel relaxed and at home, with plenty of space for everyone. We all, all 23 of us enjoyed our visit & would love to roast marshmellows around the fire pit again as many enjoyed the hot tub at……

“The cabin was excellent. Matches the pictures if not better. Cabin is in very good shape with lots of extras including those blueberry bushes which the entire group enjoyed.Road into area is windy and gravel for quite a stretch but a Toyota Camry had no issues.Do understand that cell phone coverage isn't just spotty at the cabin but starts 15-20 minutes out but honestly isn't an issue once you get wifi on-site. Wifi was weak at times but once again not a showstopper.”

“Windy Hill Lodge is an absolute paradise in the mountains! The cabin, and all of its amenities, were absolutely top-notch and the process of checking in couldn't have been easier! I don't know if there's better views anywhere in North Carolina! We enjoyed Windy Hill Lodge so much that we never even went into town… Just stayed and enjoyed the views and the great breeze!We cannot wait to return next year!”

“We have been renting houses for Christmas for years now and this one is perfect. Some of my crew is getting older and a couple have serious knee issues. I have never found this size of house all on one level before. The view is grandiose. We live in the mountains and the ascension can be quite tricky. This was fantastic. Every commodity you can think of or necessity/want is handled. Communication is instant. House is comfortable and specious. If wanted kids can be in one room , adults in……

“This is one of the cleanest, well furnished cabins that we have ever rented. We rent a cabin ever year and this one pleased everyone in our group. Plenty of sitting areas, games, TV's, comfortable beds and wonderful windows with great views. The only complaint I had was a smell when you first walk into the cabin. It smelled like cat urine but could have been from the rug on the floor in that room.”
