“This hotel had the feel of an old 1980s hotel that had been poorly maintained over the years by the owners. The room was clean but on our second morning we weren't able to have a shower because the shower didn't work. The tap water was also like an oven while the beds were like rocks. Despite promising wi-fi this too was non-existent. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok but during our stay there was always a feeling of what was going to go wrong next.”

“If you are ok staying in a hostel from the'80s then this is the place for you... the bedding and the 1 towel was clean, but older fixtures showed decades of dirt that hadn't been wiped off... definitely didn't see pictures of this place before booking”

“We booked a Deluxe room with the bonus of EV charging on site. Except there wasn't as they didn't have a contract with a supplier.The room was on the ground floor directly across from other rooms, approximately 4 metres away, with windows facing each other, with a walkway between so there were people walking past the room regularly. The room was also about 10 metres from the drop off point for deliveries to the hotel and the bins as well. Our first morning there was a delivery, starting at……

“Hotel is ok but £25 in a taxi to the centre of Aberdeen. Breakfast is pretty basic with no fresh fruit.I want to love this hotel but just wish it was nearer to the city.”

“Our whole family loved our stay here. The food and restaurant were charming. The surrounding country was beautiful and peaceful. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Smokers stood right in front of the doors to access the hotel was not a great experience for a non smoker and the doors are directly opposite reception who I'm guessing chose to not ask people to move. The smell then blew into the reception area.”

“I stayed here the night before my wedding at Drum Castle and was able to utilize the late checkout so I could get ready there with my hair and makeup artists. My bridesmaids, mother, and I had such a great experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the breakfast was delivered to my room and was delicious, and the property was clean and very relaxing. Lots of cute bunnies outside! We enjoyed our experience here very much and would stay again!”
