My girlfriend and I could not be more happy with our stay at the Ellysian. I truly believe it is the best hotel/resort to stay in all of Placencia and possibly Belize. Incredibly beautiful. So much to see on the 7200 acres. Abundant wildlife . Pine forest and broadleaf jungle. Jaguar Reserve. Waterfalls everywhere. Could not believe what we were seeing. Made it hard to travel off the property to see other sites. Staff was wonderful. Ofelia ,Marissa Jaime,Hector made us feel right at home.Really looked out for us. Accommodations exquisite. Food and drinks top shelf. Must return. Just scratched the surface in five days.

I was really impressed by how clean and well stocked this hotel was. It looks better in person that in the photographs! My room had everything I needed, it was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The AC worked well and I appreciated the location. It was close to everything , including dining options, but was on the towards the end so it was quite and I was able to sleep. There were two things I wanted in a hotel in Belize. Those were cleanliness and safety. This hotel met both of those criteria. I found it very comfortable and clean and the staff was very friendly, patient, and helpful. Overall, this is a very small hotel but with that it is very comfortable and everyone has an outstanding view of the beach. Walking just outside of your door, you have a view that is priceless. Francella and Daena at the front desk were very helpful, attentive, and present at all times. The security guard was very professional, respectful and attentive. My family and I stayed for one night and we found the facility was clean with nice plants. It’s located on a main road in a very convenient area, the room had ac with an equipped kitchenette, and strong WiFi service in the room. The staff went out of their way to make sure that I had everything that I needed. Andrew and David were very knowledgeable and shared information with me that I found very helpful. The room and setting were beautiful. A very safe and welcoming place for families.
