“This hotel is in serious need of an update. The elevators were dirty, and I found a cockroach in one of the lower-level hallways. The rooms felt dated, with some unappealing color choices. There was also a strong push to attend a timeshare presentation. The food options were limited, but what I tried tasted good.”

“We used to love Hacienda Buenaventura. The property was dated but the waiters and food made up for everything else. This time around, the wait staff was not the friendliest, the food was the same almost every day and was not the best. Breakfast was probably our favorite. Lots of pork dishes for lunch and dinner… too many..The flavors were not the greatest. Servers and hostess at the entrance didn’t go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This was my daughter’s first visit and she was not……

“I like the location of the hotel”

“Not enough lounge chairs and umbrellas around pool areas. The hotel was no”
