“Clean but minimalist, big empty basement, good for a cheap stay near Caramoor”

“Historic Hideaway was perfect stay while we were in town for a wedding. It is definitely a historic house. We loved it. The bedding was nice and the mattresses in all the rooms appeared newish and were very comfortable. It has large common spaces to gather and visit or watch tv. We did not cook, but the kitchen seemed well-appointed and having coffee and tea available was nice. And an electric corkscrew - who could ask for more!Because it is an old house it has short ceilings and door frames……

“After arriving to another home without any electricity, we reached out to David who accommodated us right away! The home was clean, inviting and very spacious for our two families to enjoy. The kids loved the basement, basketball hoops, and huge yard. We all enjoyed the hot tub, firepit and open family spaces. Have already recommended to other groups looking for a serene family getaway.”

Great communication with us prior to check-in, very responsive to our questions and needs at the beginning and throughout our stay. Home is as pictured in the photos with very nice touches throughout. Washer/dryer and dishwasher in great working condition. Location super close to Scotts Corners where there are nice local……
