The resort has wine and oil to taste, there are also many other vineyards nearby to sample. The resort is also less than an hour from Florence."

"Perfectly positioned in a quiet street 5 minutes walk from the Duomo. The reception staff speak excellent English, and are very helpful. The restaurants they recommended were very good, and were all within easy walking distance (old Florence is not a place to take your car due to narrow streets and limited parking).
