“Beautiful gardens surround what clearly was a stunning manor house in its day. Met at reception by a cheerful helpful lass who soon had us booked in.
Room was very dated and tired and desperately needed a full refresh. A questionable mark on the bed valance caused concern.
The bath plug spun wildly and wouldn't seal meaning a bath was out the question. Saying that there was no shortage of hot water for a shower.
We slept well enough and beds were comfortable.
