“Nice gentleman greeted us and explained house rules. Took a little time to meet on arrival but no issues.”

“Room was boiling hot making it hard to sleep despite turning off the heater. The curtains do not shut out the street lights so the room is illuminated all night. Staff very polite and help.”

“I never received any check in information, I arrived at the property at 3:30pm and I couldn’t get into the building. I tried calling the phone number that was previously provided and I couldn’t get through. The manager turned up outside after I had been standing there on crutches for 30mins. I informed the manager that I hadn’t received any check information, he then let me into the building where he contacted someone regarding check in information. I was given a key box/room card/but no code……

“Yea chose the biggest room for my family staying. But the photos in the web is so different from real! So dirty and bad. Well..at least the toilet is acceptable. Long staircase and no way to lift up to the room at all! ”

The listing is misleading—this is not a hotel or an apartment, but a very small room inside a house, which was not clearly communicated. The check-in process was very poorly managed. We did not receive any email or instructions on how to access the property. Additionally, the address listed on Hotels.com was……

“Unable to check in and spent hours infront of property. Sent ID's to complete check in procedure only to be told no rooms available. Also address is not correct and you will be taken to an office and not an apartment. BE CAREFUL ”

“The mattress was so old you could see the dents on both sides from people laying there. The pillows were not of a good quality and the night of sleep was poor. The carpet also old and did not appear very clean. Same with the bathmat in the bathroom. There was ground coffee, but the machine was only for capsules and no capsules were provided. ”

“No one took care of our check in. We waited for the staff to come for an hour in the rain but still no one showed up. Finally he guided on the phone to get in the apartment. This is ridiculous! The kitchenwares were all very dirty which couldn't be used if we didn't wash it ourselves. But there was no detergent provided. The washing machine and the toaster were very so dirty that we didn't try to use them. However the cleaning charge of £50 was still charged! We asked the staff to come twice……
