The patios and little outdoor seating areas were a pleasant bonus as well as the breakfast. The garden cottage was situated on the top floor of the house with its own private outdoor entrance”

“The home was not as pictured and had several maintenance issues during our stay. The bed in our room broke two nights in a row, and when I contacted the owner, he admitted it had been broken by previous guests and knew about it before our arrival. He said he would fix it that day but never showed up. Other issues included a very loud dryer, a dishwasher that wasn’t secured and tipped forward, and the breaker flipping once time during our stay, affecting the kitchen, living room, and one bedroom.……

“House was really pretty. Unfortunately the tenant was home and after calling the landlord, we determined the whole rental was a scam. Neither Vrbo nor I could contact the "host." I had to book a hotel room for $300/night at the very last second... 4 hours after I shouldn't checked-in, but Vrbo insisted that I give it a little more time.”
