“We really wanted to love everything about this place, but the service is the worst that I have ever experienced at any hotel! They did a great job with the branding and marketing but unfortunately the experience does not live up to the expectation. The staff seemed like they really didn’t want to be there and the food was terrible at all of the restaurants. The staff in the pool area was especially miserable and not what you would expect when spending $1200 a night to stay. They were……

“We paid for a king but when we went into our room it was a double. I went to the desk to say we were given the wrong size room and was told they did not have anymore king size rooms on that floor. I complained and then was told I could move to an outside room with a king sized bed. The lady at the desk was not very helpful or accommodating and I did not feel I was wrong about complaining about not having the room I booked and paid for. Very outdated but it was convenient to be so close to……

“We stayed at the Weston on St. Thomas from April 24-29. Overall we loved our stay. All of the staff members were amazing! Every team member we spoke with was very helpful and patient with us. The room was very nice and clean. We had an amazing ocean view from our room and we enjoyed spending early mornings and evenings out on our personal little patio enjoying it. The shower was our main complaint about the room. There was not any hot water during “prime shower times”. We would try to shower……

“The king size bed in the room was old with the hump in the middle. The room housekeeping was erratic, a couple of days no housekeeping, a few once a day and a few twice a day. Cleaning of the room was superficial, no cleaning of patio. We did not use the spa.The fittness room was nice but the steam room is at the spa.”

“Amazing ocean views, very clean, attentive staff. I would recommend a game room, pool tables, darts and gaming machines. Food was subpar but the kitchenette was a game changer! Security should be more focused on crowd control than guests. Overall I would recommend Bluebeard’s Castle in St Thomas.”

“So nice being right on the beach. We didn’t mind being by the airport at all, the noise wasn’t bad and we kinda liked watching the planes. We even walked from airport to the hotel and it was a very easy walk. Third floor room was perfect to sit out and see the view. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, especially with getting taxis. ”

“We were without power (at least 3-5 hrs on 3 days and one day was 18hrs) 4 out of 6 days. One small flashlight, NO generator. Very inconvenient when you can’t make meals (which is why I rented a place with a full kitchen) or do laundry. All I got from management was I’m sorry. The check in process was very odd. Random text messages for 2 different people (not explaining who they were until I asked) asking about our flight info. Jill met us at the property once we arrived and she was AWESOME!! ”

“Stayed with friends in a two bedroom suite. Customer service was excellent, very quick and efficient. Bartender was pleasant as well, very beautiful scenery as well. I will definitely stay again.”

“Location was absolutely key! While the hotel is a bit older, it still offers a nice stay. There was a water pipe issue, but it was out of their control, and they thoughtfully provided water for guests. Remember, it's an island, and sometimes things happen! “Breakfast was always fresh during my stay, and the staff was helpful and friendly. However, one thing left me disappointed. I had booked this trip for my honeymoon, but on the day I was supposed to fly out, the airline canceled all flights to St. Thomas. “Room just steps from a very clean beach with chairs, umbrellas and water included. Would have been nice to have a little more information upon check in. (Took 3 days for someone to let us know about the complimentary water) probably due to the check in Staff uninterested attitude. Everyone else including the check out staff were very pleasant. Room cleaned daily and always stocked with fresh towels, coffee and tea. ”
