“great staff”

“It rained the day we arrived and when we got there, the whole kitchen and living room were flooded and the rug was soaked for the whole 7 day trip so the whole house stunk of mildew the entire trip. We woke up sick every morning from breathing in the nasty air all night. I dont know if someone left the front door open allowing the rain water to come in during the storm but we would’ve enjoyed our trip better if we didn’t get sick every time we were in the house. There is also no laundry soap or……

“Front desk staff was rude, spotted big cockroaches around the property, vending machine was out of order, additional surcharges for daily house keeping, rarely any complementary refreshments available. This property is falsely advertised we learned that it is not a hotel resort it’s private owned timeshare’s upon checking in for my accommodation booking for queen size studio suite room with ocean view balcony as we received our room the balcony did not have ocean view it was a city view instead……

“Giving this “hotel” a three star review because the beach was very nice, warm, and clean of sea weed. The “hotel” was extremely run down. They call themselves a resort, but offer nothing besides a room and a small restaurant. It was clear that they cater to cruise ship traffic. When the cruise ships are not in port they scale back their staff and recreation to the bone. See picture of our “ocean front” room attached to the review. Come for the beach … stay somewhere else.”

“Angie & Karen (managers) were both very helpful and had the "Pride of Ownership" attitude. The feel was welcoming and quaint. Also, the amenities were great and focused on the guests. I've stayed at many places both for work and personal travel and the staff was great. Highly recommend!!”

“We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage, and we thought the rooms looked very nice. We had an issue with the cottage being warm most of the night as well as the TV not working properly. We reached out to staff, and they didn’t contact us until the next morning, which is when we were leaving. When we vacation, our non-negotiables are clean, comfortable rooms, and unfortunately, the second item wasn’t met. Also important to know that the only walkable food option is their restaurant, which does not……

“This place has not been updated in years. -Nothing was open in the hotel. No restaurant, no bar, even the pay on your own snack bar had absolutely nothing, not even a water. No airport shuttles as advertised. -I would never recommend staying here. Not even if it was free. -The cost of the taxi to the airport is the same price as if you were on the other side of the island. -Ocean front room I rented has a major road in front of the ocean. Loud all night”

“Its not the property’s fault but the seaweed was awful. The whole reason people book is to have beach access. The offer to shuttle to another nearby beach was inadequate. The hotel should have offered to reimburse for cost of chair rentals, etc. Really disappointed in the lack of effort to make this right for their guests. They seemed short staffed based on the lack of golf carts & frequency they passed by. I was in building up the hill & it would have been problematic for anyone with mobility……
