Check‑in last Saturday was extremely disappointing and made both me and my family feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. The employee at the front desk showed no interest in greeting us, acknowledging us, or creating any sense of hospitality. Her tone was dismissive, her body language was cold, and it felt as though we were interrupting her rather than checking into a hotel we were genuinely excited to stay at. She lacked even the most basic customer service skills — no smile, no eye contact, no willingness to help, and no effort to make the process smooth. When I asked for assistance with a simple check‑in request, she refused to help and offered no explanation. I ultimately had to reach out to leadership just to complete the check‑in process, which is something no guest should ever have to do. Everyone has a bad day, but that doesn’t mean taking it out on others. Her behavior set a negative tone for our stay and made us feel uncomfortable during what should have been a simple, welcoming interaction. A front‑desk employee is the first impression of the entire property, and this interaction made us feel anything but valued as guests.

I wills like to say first my room and bathroom wee clean and enjoyable. It was a higher disappointment for being an highly spoken about hotel , 4 stars the best in Milwaukee that the customer service and staff, restaurant were the biggest let down. The day of arrival I called the front desk to ask if my room was ready and get an early check in but the front desk had me on the phone for and hour looking for my reservation and saying I had the wrong date booked? I said multiple times can I give you my confirmation number and no respond(dead air) she was doing something on the computer but I ask again, hello can I provide my number to help. she found my reservation and didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience and abrasiveness of the phone call no “ sorry about that I found it” nothing. So now I check in and and foen annoy my trip but at checkout I went to the restaurant and asked for a cup at coffee at 10 AM and the sever finally stopped after 10 minutes of me sitting at the bar and “I have a make a fresh pot of coffee if you really want one”..I said yes please is it that much trouble! I just wanted coffee? The house of the restaurant don’t match what the front desk told us and online when I looked up the hours on the website. what hotel doesn’t offer coffee? The bar area in the restaurant was sticky and dirty, the bar glad window was gross, like someone wiped it and left dirty streaks that accumulated dust and dirt! The restaurant bar had open wine bottles beer bottles. ..
