This one is great value. Clean quiet room, a bathroom fan that didn’t sound like a diesel, everything worked. Just what you want in a budget accommodation.

Our first stay here was unfortunately pretty rough. We weren't informed ahead of time that we needed an access code to get into the building, so we were left trying to figure out how to get inside until we were finally able to get the code. It was frustrating, especially after traveling. When I called, I was told that because I booked through a third-party site, they didn't have my contact information to send the check-in instructions. That may explain why we didn't receive the access code, but it would be helpful if there were another process in place to ensure all guests receive the information they need before arriving. Thankfully, the restaurant downstairs was incredibly helpful. If it weren't for their staff, it would have been a very stressful experience trying to figure out how to get our access code and get into the building. They mentioned they've helped many guests in the same situation, which suggests this is a recurring issue. A simple message with the access instructions before check-in—or a way to verify guests' contact information regardless of how they book—would make a huge difference and save guests a lot of unnecessary stress. Hopefully, management improves their communication because the check-in process left a poor first impression.

Instructions to find the Serenity apartments at Wauwatosa Wisconsin weren't great but once we found the actual apartment, it exceeded our expectations. It was truly a home away from home, as it was immaculately clean and had everything needed for a fuss free stay. Shops and restaurants witin walking distance. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning for a longer extended stay!
