“The room and property were clean. The beds were pretty hard and the pillows were thin, so we didn't sleep as well as one would hope. Parking is not free here. In addition, when you check in, they charge you a $35 "deposit." I still don't know if they will actually refund mine despite leaving the room in a reasonable condition. The TV was odd. They have apps like Netflix installed, but they ask guests to log into their own accounts. They claim they'll wipe the accounts once you check out, but……

“The furniture was all scratched, couched had what looked like puke on it, the back of the bathroom door was filthy, no ice machine in the room or on site, was not aware that this is also a short/long-term living facility not just a hotel. There was no secure internet available. Kids running screaming. Was not acceptable.”

“The lobby is not attached to the building the rooms are actually in, so that took a minute to find. Water in the lobby has been sitting for days, tasted disgusting. Small room, very dated. Smart TV with no WiFi meant no tv. We had to use our phone as a hot spot to watch. Water in shower smelled terrible when I showered in the morning. The continental breakfast was a joke. The staff was apologetic about the breakfast. It was premade waffles, 2 sausages some ham and cereal.”

“Our room was great upon check in, we rushed to get to our dinner reservation and didn’t realize the state of our room until our return. The bathroom shower had someone else’s bathroom products still in there; along with hair. There was a constant knocking in the walls in the bathroom. The bed was large but seems broken, you sunk into the middle of the mattress. ”

“Great stay. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Had construction going on and can see some really nice improvements coming soon. Looks like a patio overlooking the river. We will stay here again. Location can't be beat for Golden.”
