“Such lovely people! The landlady waited for me to arrive. I was given a room upgrade. Clean room, lovely shower with jets to massage my back and for breakfast the bacon stood out.. The fatty bit was perfectly crispy (how I like it) and tgere was even greek yoghurt for my muesli. Definitely will recommend !”

“Elizabeth sent me an email before I was checking in making sure i was aware that there would be no one present on site. Keys were left exactly where she said they would be and instructions for breakfast and everything else were easy to understand and locate. The Crossing is suitably located right next to the Kingussie railroad station and is close to the Barracks - one of the sites to see while we were there. Would highly recommend this place.”

"This is a very old hotel. The only positive is that room was very large. But it’s old. The bed was hard as a table. I understand that Inverness is mostly cold, but in the summer it should have at least a fan & better bedsheets. The bathroom was also large but it had no ventilation. Getting in & out of the tub was an accident waiting to happen. Not even a grab bar! The tub was clogged & the shower curtain was moldy! Breakfast was so-so. It had options but it looked so unappetizing. Wouldn’t recommend at all "
