“Easily accessible from the highway - but tucked away in quiet corner - Casa Morada is a peaceful retreat. Good parking. Clean beautiful room/suite. Easy access to pool and lounging area. No beach. ”

“The area down by the water is beautiful. The room we had was horrific..... Smelled like sewage and all they did for usbwas chenge the bedding and put an ionizer in the room for a couple of hours. No money back, nothing. Refused to do anything beyond that. ”

“Property was truly beautiful with friendly staff and amazing amenities. The free shuttle to the other resorts was a great surprise as well. We took the Rum Runner for breakfast (shout out to Captain Dave and Bruce for being amazing). In my opinion, Amara Cay was the nicest of the three resorts if you’re looking for island luxury and a truly relaxing experience. Will definitely be visiting again!”

Staff checked in daily via text which i think is a nice touch, the beach and pool areas were readily available with chairs and towels and our villa was so cute with everything you could need in a little kitchen and bathroom. Breakfast was from 6a-10a and it was what you'd expect plus a made to order omelette station. During the day they had someone there making a few select cocktails. The lobby also had most things you could probably need for purchase if you forgot……

“Wow this is a hidden gem in Islamorada. We stayed for only 1 night but we regret not staying longer. The service is great. Upon arrival the lady in the reception is super kind and sweet. Was always smiling and attentive. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable. We stayed in a cottage and it fitted us perfectly. They offer continental breakfast which is juoce, yogurt, toast, coffee. The atmosphere felt very relaxing and tropical, exactly what you want for a getaway in the Keys. It has……

“There is a really great Mexican place to walk to and a great bagel place that also serves breakfast and lunch. The boats have air conditioning, 2 large beds, bathroom and living area with a couch, small kitchen and table. It was very relaxing. We will definitely go back. Also has a beautiful pool and games for kids. Definitely a 10!!”

“There is no beach, it’s rocks then water, the view of the ocean was very nice and when the tide gets low you can start waking on the water, always use the kayaks for fishing or just to have a good time.”
