"This property was absolutely amazing in every way. The rooms were a great size, the staff was fenominal in every way and went out of their way to help with whatever you needed. The hotel is centrally located and has lots of shops and restaurants on property. This is definitely a high end property with lots of things to see and do in the area and the stores reflect that. If I go back to Tokyo in the near future this is the only hotel I would stay at without a doubt."

"Recently stayed at than hotel and it was perfect! The staff were so nice and helpful. The room was vet spacious and clean and all amenities that were needed were provided! My one word of caution is the washer/dryer takes 3-4 hours and it won’t dry your clothes in the first round so please plan the time to do your laundry. Set it when you leave for the day and then re dry when you return but do not wait until the day before you leave so it slowly throughout your trip. I was easily able to have my luggage delivered from Tokyu Stay to my hotel in Kyoto. It was picked up in time and delivered as promised on time. Book this ahead a swell as slots fill up quickly. Coffee and tea provided in the lounge and delicious. Small hotel in the middle of shops and stuff but so convenient for tours and airport and shopping in Shinjuku. Would definitely stay there again! Oh and AC worked great!Tub is high though so if elderly or cannot climb well please get handicap accessible room. 5 stars for sure for this hotel!"

"The New Otani was outstanding. The Hotel was lavishly decorated and immaculate- plenty of helpful staff willing and able to assist. The Gardens and waterfall on the property were gorgeous- we were able to walk the entire grounds and take in the beauty. We also ate at multiple restaurants and took advantage of the sky lounge with the amazing views at night- very romantic. The complex is so huge it would be helpful to have a downloadable map of the hotel to use. My son lives in Tokyo and met us at the hotel and thought it was “high society” and was impressed. Great stay - Thanks"

"Good budget hotel, no frills and covers much of everything you need for a comfortable stay. Room faced the busy street and could not hear the salary men relaxing after their day at the plethora of izakayas nearby! Great location for a 5min walk to Akasaka-Mitsuke station for catching trains. There is a sauna / spa for men, but does not accommodate those with tattoos. Not a negative for me. Basic laundry room for a typical fee, could get pricey if you need to use frequently. Only hiccup of the stay was a fire alarm going off just before midnight, causing all guests to climb down the stairs and wait for a few minutes to clear. An inconvenience but was glad for the safety. Staff were great during this unforseen event! Overall would more than likely revisit this place. Check-in /out very easy, with a perk of late check out for a couple yen."

"The Hanzomon Monterey hotel was a great value for the money. We appreciated several amenities such as a strong shower head (I have thick hair and need good power), the omelette bar at the buffet and the coffee maker in the room. The staff were extremely helpful and the beds were very comfortable. We found the train station across the street extremely convenient and there were several really yummy restaurants nearby, including a Starbucks, for those who like bitter coffee. It was a nice quiet area, which is what we wanted."
