Comfortable and friendly

We enjoyed our stay at the White Hart. We got a room in the back of the building overlooking a garden. We loved sitting out there and relaxing. The room was a nice size and comfortable. The complementary breakfast provided a good selection and was tasty. The lobby is a nice place to have coffee or wine. The chairs are everywhere and make it a nice place to relax. Beautiful warm yet modern design - ripe for Architectural Digest. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Morning breakfast is terrific. Cute town to navigate within steps of the hotel.

I didn't want to leave and wish I had time to stay longer. Room was exceptional. Staff was exceptional. A truly great stay.

I was impressed by the historic charm of the hotel. There is even a dedicated room detailing the history of the area, educational significance and courthouse beginnings. The court room restaurant and rooftop bar are definitely worth a visit. The rooms were spacious and clean. We will definitely be back.

We were greeted by extremely friendly staff. Check in and check out was seamless. Room was very nice and immaculate. We especially liked the bathroom design - didn't have to trip over the toilet to get in the shower as in most hotels! Free breakfast was the usual fare, but in a very pleasant and uncrowded room. Appreciated the free US News and NY Times Beautiful indoor pool - wish we'd brought our bathing suits!

We live locally however needed a New Haven hotel for our wedding guests as well as ourselves. The Blake was perfect! A beautiful property centrally located to downtown, Yale, and the entertainment area of the city. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the city!

We truly had a terrific experience. We drove New Jersey with my granddaughter who is doing her sevond Master’s Degree in Scotland. She needed Research materials at the Yale Library. We arrived at The Study at 10 am instead of the 3 pm check in. The front desk clerks were exceptional and said our rooms were ready! This is my second time staying at the Inn, and everytime that out do themselves from the time before. Gave me a call to see if there was anything special I may need prior to my arrival. Room is spotless, probably the cleanest room I have ever experience. Convenient to the New Milford Green, plenty of good places to eat. Very quiet and restful. I will be staying at the end at least once a month over the next year, Highly recommend!!!

I was wowed with this hotel. Exceptionally friendly staff. Exceptionally clean facility and clean room. Easy access to many nearby restaurants and Route 84. A great value, nice breakfast, and best of all…the coffee was delicious! Will definitely stay here again next time we’re passing through.
