“We arrived in the middle of a storm Amy related power cut which had affected the whole region. The owners could not be more helpful and pulled out all the stops to get us an evening meal. A really nice place to stay. We took the scenic way there along the loch and the quick way to get back to the A82 - the Corran vehicle ferry runs every half an hour (or quicker) and takes 5 minutes to cross the loch. ”

“The hotel is very beautiful, intimate, clean and welcoming. Although the light went out in the Hijglands, they informed us and treated us kindly. That the hotel is small and with few rooms makes it very charming. ”

“The great thing about this hotel was the location. It’s a lovely quiet location a short walk from the town. The room was ok. Clean. Bathroom door stuck every time and the bottom sheet was not big enough for the twin beds that had been pushed together. The downside was that there was a comment that we had booked through Expedia when we arrived. “When we arrived to the hotel, they informed us there was a storm and they lost power. That is understandable, however they provided no alternative or directions on where we could sleep that night. They only said they were closed and couldn't support or help us in any way. We had driven 3 hours from Edimburgh and had to find another hotel in the middle of the night with very limit knowledge of the area and very poor international phone internet, sitting in a parking lot.
