“This was a very nice hotel in a good location and with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel had no car park of its own, but there was a car park across from the hotel. The room was clean but it had no coffee making facilities and the air conditioning was difficult to operate. The evening meal was slightly disappointing; the breakfast was simple, but good. We would be happy to stay there again”

“We had an amazing stay at this beautiful château in the countryside of the Loire Valley. The host was welcoming & friendly and very informative, helping us with suggestions of restaurants and sites to see as well as some history on her home which has been in her family for 18 generations. Having come from busy, crowded and loud Paris (which we loved as well), Château de la Giraudière was exactly what we needed next; quiet, fresh air and a small village environment. “This hotel was nice and a good value. We enjoyed our room and it was located a 10 minute drive away from Chateau Chambord. Parking was a bit limited, and don’t plan on arriving early because there is no one at reception until check in time (and they’re only there for limited hours, so keep that in mind!) Overall we enjoyed our stay.”
