everything was great except when I inquired about late check out on saturday evening, I was told that only one person could approve that and she didn't come in until 9am on Sunday. I had to be out by 6:45am and wanted to come back at 11:30am to pack my room, etc -- but was told that they could not assist me. It might be helpful if there is someone that can approve/accomodate these requests the night before instead of risking getting charged an extra night. I opted to pack my room and check out...

I went to Tomsriver to visit family and friends. I chose the clarion from prior reviews and they were so right. The rooms were clean and fresh, the staff, house keeping to front desk were so kind and pleasant. The Resturant/ bar fabulous. My daughter had a gymnastics meet at the convention center in Atlantic City the weekend we booked our room. Staying at the Swan Lake Resorts was a nice alternative to staying at a hotel. They allow dogs in the home I stayed it, so it made potty breaks for him a breeze. My dog slept comfortably in his dog bed, as my daughter competed only a short drive away. Once we were done, we scooped him up and headed back home. Highly recommend!
