"The apartment is darling and well appointed. There's tons of sunlight and the house is comfortable. Public transportation (specifically the L) is a 12 minute walk, and it's a fun, adventurous excursion for shopping or restaurants. The apartment is definitely on a noisy corner. We live in NYC and are accustomed to exterior traffic sounds so it didn't bother us much, but suburban, light sleepers should be prepared."

"Came to Naval Graduation and this place was quite accommodating to our needs, was able to bring the whole family where we could all stay together. We cooked, ate and caught up on time lost together. No complaints"

"The property is super easy to find & has parking included. Realistically you’ll be about 40 minutes from the heart of the city but the neighborhood is nice & quiet along with everybody being friendly. The neighborhood has plenty of places to walk dogs which was important for us. The pictures of the listing are accurate as to what to expect. The hostess left us snacks & treats/bowls for our puppers which was a nice surpise; they also have an in-unit book where previous visitors give...

"The ONLY bit of an issue was that there is some sort of (what I think may be a backwash cycle with a pump or septic system) noise that comes on next to 2 of the bedrooms. This often happened randomly in the middle of the night and it can be a little loud. If it is indeed a pump, maybe it could be set up and scheduled to come on only during the day. Everything else was very clean, nice, and updated."

"I loved the Harvey House - it was beautiful, clean and peaceful. I intend to stay here again next time I am in Evanston. I hadn't realised the entrance code wouldn't work before 4pm, my check in time, which was my fault!! But just thought I'd let people know so they didn't make the same error as me. I thoroughly recommend this apartment as a place to stay."

"Husband/wife/teen needed a place for a weekend stay near Northwestern. The teen slept on the couch and was comfortable. Street parking was never a problem. It IS a basement property and you can expect some noise from neighbors above, but it wasn’t overly intrusive during our stay. Host very responsive and accessible. Worked out great for our needs."

"I say mostly good because I had to by dishwashing detergent to be able to use dishes/wash dishes. The WiFi cut out on day 8 and I had no use of the TV and only had internet through my phone and IPAD. Sitting area furniture Made of toothpicks. So not great. On the plus side great location and roomy studio, full kitchen with gas stove. Great bathtub. A really nice place in a nice location."

"This home was very Beautiful and More Spacious than expected with a Beautiful back yard that we sadly didn’t get to enjoy because of the rain. The house location was great with A lot of stores and restaurants nearby. Next time we have a Family gathering I definitely will be rebooking"

"Relaxing, quiet and clean neighborhood. Love the retro decor. Kitchen is well equipped for those that might want to cook. A few branches were down in backyard, furniture wasn't set out yet such as outdoor dining table and chairs or gazebo, but overall property was in good condition.
