“I booked the pool view room, and they gave me a room that wasn't the pool view without telling me. Then I went to the front desk to change room, it took them about half hour to change room for me. But the air conditioner in the new room was so noisy that I couldn’t open it. The hygiene of the room was very poor, and there were some yellow stains on the towels and quilt”

“We needed to stay for an extra night in Aruba, and our original hotel was asking for way too much for one night stay. I did a bit or research and came across this hotel. We were very happy with the cleanliness, communication with staff and the room. While it has a small pool to relax, we did not get a chance to explore it since we only stayed for the night. However, I could definitely see us coming back next year. Each room has its own access code; there is a grill that can be used for cooking……

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Modern Hotel! The hotel is cute, clean, and has a nice, relaxing atmosphere. The staff met us when we arrived and were very welcoming. There was a slight language barrier, but we were still able to communicate and understand each other without any problem. The only thing to be aware of is that you do have a little bit of a walk to get to the ocean, but it wasn't a major issue for us. Overall, we had a great experience and wouldn't definitely consider staying……

“Free upgrade to one of our rooms, but we realized the rooms have no washer and dryer. They respectfully said we can get quarters from the front desk to use the laundry room in the building. (The washer/dryers are very outdated) During our 5 night stay, when we needed to wash some clothing, we went to the front desk for quarters and they said they don’t have quarters. Aside from no quarters, and a few changes we noticed on the resort, along with miserable staff, we will NOT be returning. This was……
