"Cozy house just steps from the water. The private island is for sure worth visiting, especially for the sunset's. The kitchen is amazing and has literally anything you can think of or need. Dixie is beyond an amazing host, she exceeded my expectations when it came to communicating and made this trip so easy from the moment I hit book. "This is our 2nd time staying at Patricia’s lovely home. My bother is ill and the hospital is in close proximity so we had no hesitation in booking another week with her. She is a wonderful host, responds immediately, addresses concerns quickly - although nothing was major - and genuinely cares about her renters. If we have to go back to this area again we are not wanting to stay any place else. It is warm and comfortably designed, thank you again for sharing your beautiful home!"

"My sister and I were looking for a place we could just relax for Mother's Day weekend and this was the perfect spot. There was a coffee and tea bar complete with different flavored coffees and creamers, snacks, more toiletry options than I have at my own house, smart TVs in many rooms, and a hot tub to relax in. It was very clean, but also welcoming and homey. I definitely recommend this house for anyone who wants a comfortable, relaxed, chill getaway. I will be returning in the future."

"We rented this cute little house for my family and a few of our friends for a softball tournament. The owners were great with communicating with us and the house was so clean! The beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect for us. The only thing I wish there had been a baby gate for the stairs, it’s a tri level so there was two small sets of stairs and it would have been great to have a way to block it off. But overall we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!"

"I rented this beautiful home for my wedding weekend, as our venue was close to the home, my guest and I had a great time here, the animals were great we really enjoyed them and I think they enjoyed all the pets we gave them , mourine was lovely and super helpful, it truly was just awesome, comfy beds pleanty of room, everything you need for a relaxing stay , just what we needed , thank you mourine for a great stay."

"Black & White vibes for days! Rented this gem while in town to see a show at Pine Knob and it was so lovely. The historic charm was perfectly restored in each room. Travelled a quick visit over to the Detroit Zoo, had drinks a few minutes away at Liberty Bar, and spent a great evening around the fire pit. Will be back soon for sure!"

"The main reason for our nine nights away was to have a quiet place to sleep and rest while enjoying time with our friends in Rochester, Michigan. It was perfect! My wife and I slept a lot, enjoyed Yates Cider Mill, enjoyed the restaurants in the area, and had a great time with our friends. We shall do it again next year!!! Les & Linda"

"It was a beautiful scenery. Loved the lake. So peaceful. Well stocked. I’m not Streaming savy on Tv so we struggled. Would like more comfy recliners felt small. Deck needs power washed and painted. Overall will stay again. Great place"
