"I loved the food at the Don Rafael buffet. The staff at this resort were amazing and friendly. The entertainment was great, I just wish there had been more nights like the salsa dancing night rather than American-ized music most nights, but I understand they probably get more crowd engagement with American music. At least they quickly refunded our money but we were left to scramble to find another hotel during the cab ride from Cancun to Playacar. We’ve never had anything like this happen before!"

"Love this property and I've stayed here multiple times per year since 2018. I had an unfortunate experience this last trip, with the front desk guy, who basically harassed me by text message after I departed, because I didn't tip him for holding my cell phone at the front desk when I left it in the room after check out. He was new(er) to the team and I don't know what staffing changes they have had there...but that left a very sour taste in my mouth and I don't know if I will ever return to...
