Best Resorts in Playa del Carmen

"I had an issue at check-in when I realized I had only reserved for 2 people. I was traveling with my 2 adult college daughters. Once that was resolved, we had an amazing time at the beach, at all inclusive restaurants, and nearby local vendors and the mall all within walking distance. I recommend the Italian restaurant for its delicious food and great service. We went there twice. They remembered us. One of my daughters liked it so much she ate 2 meals in one setting. We had a disappointing experience at a different all inclusive “resort” in Cozumel and took the ferry to this beautiful resort where they know how to treat their guests well. It really saved our week vacation and I hope we can return soon."

"This is a great resort. Employees are exceptionally friendly and accomodating . I had construction above my room and they upgraded my room and moved me to another building. Very clean! Pools everywhere! Irma at the spa was phenomenal, Angel at the front desk is the best! No hidden charges, staff is extremely grateful! I will be back!"

"I was skeptical about going to Mexico vs other beach destinations. Overall I was completely satisfied with this resort. The staff was great, food was very good (big variety at buffets), and beach was nice. Only thing that was annoying was how the check in process took forever and they have a very pushy/agitating sales rep trying to convince you to go to a breakfast so they can sell you a membership. Besides that I had no complaints with this resort. "

"Excellent resort. There are native animals on the resort grounds, lemurs and iguanas but outstanding service and the staff is always ready to assist. Aeveral restaurants to choose: from French to Italian and the main restaurant has a different themed dinner every night as well as a great show. There was some construction and upgrades taking place on the property but that should not be a deciding factor. Great place to relax on the Gulf so go and ENJOY!!!"
