“The Days Inn by Wyndham in Covington was not up to the standards of other Days Inn facilities I’ve stayed at. It’s an old hotel that is somewhat run down and not particularly clean. The bottom of my white socks turned black from walking across the room only a few times without shoes. On the second day of my 4-day stay, the floor was apparently mopped with a dirty mop and was sticky and smelled bad for the remainder of my stay. “I had paid to stay 3 nights. The property is in such poor conditions I can not believe Expedia has this property on there website. Of course the reviews are very inaccurate. The bathroom was filthy. Turned on the water in the tub, water pressure very low. The shower didn’t work and you couldn’t stop the tub to take bath. I asked for another room, but there were no more. “The location is excellent as it is close to shopping and a variety of restaurant options. The staff is exceptional, friendly, and very helpful.
