"The person at the check in window was somewhat friendly. Really no complaints in regards to the staffing. But as for the cleanliness of the property, it was basically disgusting. When I tell you they had a roach infestation, that’s an understatement. The amount of baby roaches and full grown roaches swarming the room was disgusting. I had to go buy raid and basically flood the perimeter of the room to keep them from coming in. If I had the money to leave to another motel, I would have. My partner and I are homeless currently residing in our vehicle. I used the last of my money to get a room so we can shower and get a good nights sleep and rest. And that was a huge fail. We should have saved our money and stayed in our car. We would have been less stressed. That was just the roaches, but there was multiple long strands of hair all over the two towels provided that were hanging in the bathroom. The shower curtain smelled of mildew. The bed cover was covered in holes and cig burns. The graffiti by “pookie” all over the room was also a nice touch. I would usually love a comped room for the filth we were exposed to, but I wouldn’t stay here again, even for free. I’d rather stay in my car where I know it’s clean and free of pests."

"Pool/hot tub is under construction and there was no pre-message regarding this. Front desk staff became defensive in response to me when I suggested emails they sent me directly from the hotel should have mentioned the pool/hot tub closure since it was one of the main reasons I booked the hotel. Instead of being able to accept the feedback, she became rude, which is not an ideal way to treat guests. Hotel was clean, but there was a horrible chemical/perfume smell being piped in throughout the building that gave us headaches. We initially thought it was cleaning products, but realized it was everywhere we went, so realized it must have been coming in through the air conditioning. Luckily, we were able to open the window in our room slightly to let fresh air in. This is a loud hotel - tons of families with kids yelling in the halls and through the adjoining room door - ice machines right outside the door. I guess because it's a convention center hotel this is to be expected, but something to be aware of if you are traveling without kids or not in a large group. Room itself was nice. Appreciated the refrigerator and that it was enclosed behind a panel so we didn't hear it humming all night; spacious, with good furniture, room to hang clothes and nice couch/seating area. "
