Non smokers BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted Jan 21, 2016
Pros: Close to town, cabs on premise
Cons: More non smoking areas and or enforcing the non smoking in the areas designated as such. Make a designated expresso bar / area.
Location: Small over priced market a short walk away, playa is close
Smokers everywhere! Not a place I could sit being a non smoker without having smoke blown in my face, rude guests all over the place. Loud rude guests screaming and banging on the doors as they stumble down the hallways screaming. The food was so-so, we had all three of our ala-cartes at the sister resort so I can not comment about the restaurants on site, the buffets where pretty bland and very repetitive. The room at least had a working AC unit, the toilet never flushed correctly even after calling for it to be repaired. Would not be my first choice to stay if I returned to the area. The resort has two main bars, usually long lines because the bartenders are always making expresso's vs making drinks.

Excellent Food!

Pros: Great variety of drinks with some top shelf liqueur. Ala cart restaurants were very good.
Cons: New pillows.
Location: Close to Playa Del Carmen and other local shopping.
Plenty of chairs at the beach and around the pool. Swim up pool bar and drink service on the beach.Bicycles to ride, catamaran sails....great location.Big resort without being too big.

Comfortable, convenient, nice beach

Posted Jan 17, 2016
Enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was very little language barrier. We didn't have perfect weather, but were able to find things to do when there when it rained. The hotel was situated close to the downtown area and the wharf, so we were able walk down town (25 minutes) and to the wharf. Taxi fare down was only about $10. Free WiFi was available in a limited area, but could be pretty slow some times of the day. You could pay for personal wifi which gave you better access. Was a good value for the price.

The resort should be 2* it's not good set up, food below average and need rearrangement because hundreds of people go around one buffet bar, poor entertainment and the show were verry cheap. You can get lot more to other resorts for this price.ive been to Cancun many times so I say this place need restructure .

Great staff.

Pros: Aquatics sports, new year part was awesome, the shows that the animation team put on every night are very entertaining.
Cons: They could add yoga classes, wifi is slow.
We stayed for a week (Dec 26th to Jan 3rd). The location is upbeatable, many activities to do. But the very, very best is their staff. The animation group, the sports crew, everybody around the hotel is nice.

Very convenient location, beautiful beach.

South of playa, in the hotel row. About an hour from cancun airport. Less than an hour to Tulum and Akumel. 20 ish minute walk to 5th Ave in playa. Nice little shopping area across the street. Facility and staff very nice, well kept. Staff very courteous and helpful. Great beach area with plenty of activities. Only downside was that for our week-long stay we could only make 3 dinner reservations

Cons: Check in procedure.
Location: Good location and plenty to do if you want to leave the site.
Good activities and equipment. Food is better than decent. Check in procedure is rigid and in need of improvement.
