“This time we stayed in the Cottage. It was a separate unit behind the main house. Easy to enter using the code I was emailed. The cottage was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub and a wraparound shower curtain. The room A/C was excellent. It was very comfortable all day and night. The ceiling fan was whisper quiet. The cottage included a kitchen area with a half-size refrigerator/freezer, counter top, cabinets, tableware, microwave, and a table.……

“The room was nice and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We had a great view of the water and got to see dolphins the next morning. The air conditioner in our room was very loud when it kicked on. Breakfast was not very good in my opinion, fruit was not ripe. A Nespresso machine would have been great for this price point. I’m not a fan of the community coffee. The staff were great with all of our needs. The parking was tricky getting in and out of with a truck and not a great turn……

“The room was clean and very large. Bed was comfy and there were black out shades that were amazing. Balcony had a view of the ocean although there were several powerlines in that view. We still Conveniently located to Pleasure Pier. The only issues we had was that parking was scarce and they are stingy with the towels. We had 2 towels and 1 hand towel for our visit with no washcloths.”

“My husband and I loved our stay at the Carr Mansion! This historical home was charming, clean, and comfortable. Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island. The location of the home is near to several other historical landmarks/ museums, the Strand, and the Seawall. We highly recommend booking a stay at the Carr Mansion for a relaxing trip with a home-like feel that typical hotels just can’t match. We will……
