“The check in process was smooth & our host, Shannon, was there to greet us. It’s a terrific property that made for a very peaceful & comfortable respite. The property is extremely well maintained and managed & highly recommended. Near the Strand and close to the beach. Loved it!”

“This beautiful historic B&B was a joy to stay at. The breakfast was so delicious and had a great variety of items to choose from. I was especially impressed that with son with allergies to nuts, soy and dairy was able to eat the breakfast!”

“When I arrived at the hotel after paying for room they informed me that they had moved the booking to another of their properties that was 2 blocks away.... but when I told staff no I wanted to stay in this hotel they kept telling me it was an upgrade to a more Airbnb experience.. The queen bed room that I booked for 1 night for me and my bf was going to be moved to a 2 bedroom Airbnb. When I said if I could not get a room in the hotel than I wanted a refund they managed to find a queen room on……

“This time we stayed in the Cottage. It was a separate unit behind the main house. Easy to enter using the code I was emailed. The cottage was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub and a wraparound shower curtain. The room A/C was excellent. It was very comfortable all day and night. The ceiling fan was whisper quiet. The cottage included a kitchen area with a half-size refrigerator/freezer, counter top, cabinets, tableware, microwave, and a table.……

“We stayed an extra night and were out of the room all day no fresh towels and a light cleaning should have occurred. Trash from take out dinner was still in the way.”

“Mixed review. The restaurant, staff and chef were excellent! Very helpful with a wedding dinner. Thank you so much. Hotel was having ac problems. Some of our rooms wouldn’t cool properly. No discount offered only a free drink at bar. Parking is horrible. Rooms are very small. But clean.”

The ample parking made it easy to access the seawall, and the location is perfect—within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. The host was very accommodating, communicated clearly throughout my stay, and even went out of his way to share great restaurant recommendations and local things to do. I highly recommend this vacation rental to anyone visiting the area.”
