"Hotel smells lovely as soon as you walk in, rooms cleaned daily and beds made. Room was spotless however there were a few stains on some of the bedding. Very friendly staff to greet you, call taxis and provided information about places to go. However would not allow a later checkout as we were told the hotel was full but there were still plenty of rooms available online so we had to book an extra night instead of just paying to stay later the same day. The room then did not get cleaned for the last day and no fresh towels like we had received the previous days. Breakfast was not the best, some of the packaged food was out of date and the fruit/ salad looked as though it had been left out for days. Quite a small selection of hot foods and mostly pastries/ cakes which is not ideal for breakfast. There was a great selection of cheese, breads and drinks. Balcony was a decent size and room quite large, in a great location too. Spa was quite small and access is restricted to certain times and also was closed on a monday. Pool and outdoor area was lovely."

"Great 3 night stay at this hotel. We chose to stay B&B and the breakfast was brilliant with lots of choice each morning. All staff very friendly and the drinks prices were great from the beer and wine we purchased! Great location in La Pineda with only a short taxi journey to Salou or about a 1hr walk which isn’t too bad at all "

"The stay was amazing. Kids loved every part of it. From breakfast to pool time. It was amazing. We will be back at portaventura Hotel Caribe. The staff at the breakfast time was so lovely and helpful. Even with the language barrier they catered to our requirements. A chef called “Monica” at the pancake station made my daughter fall in love with the pancakes. She made her flower shaped and Minnie shaped pancakes and my daughter who is a fussy eater kept going for more! The day we were leaving that lady still remembered us and was offering to make my daughter her favourite pancakes despite being so busy at the station. Her little action of affection made my daughter so happy. She (Monica) deserves all the appreciation and recognition for her lovely personality. Thanks a lot Monica, we will always remember you. "
