“Great wee hotel. Quiet, clean and friendly service. Breakfast was really good and made for you; not on a buffet style. It was therefore hot when it arrived. Close to shops and places to eat so fab.”

“We stayed at the hotel for three nights and had breakfast there each morning. The price for the stay was very good compared to Edinburgh prices. The breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly. The rooms were clean, and it’s a great base for trips to Edinburgh because you can get there by Ember bus for just £4 (December 2025). I definitely recommend it and would stay again if I have the chance.”

“We loved everything about this hotel, our room was wonderful - clean, spacious and very comfortable, lovely decor in the room, we felt very at home. The location is wonderful, within easy reach of local amenities and a short taxi ride or pleasant walk into the city centre. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the choice of food was excellent, the restaurant was beautifully decorated and had a great atmosphere. This was our first stay at the Raeburn but certainly not our last, it’s the……

“Amazing stay, the rooms and building is beautiful, lovely underfloor heating in the bathroom. The staff were great with the personal touch as we were staying for a birthday. There is a corner shop nearby, two tram stations a short walk and a cafe opposite. Definitely well worth what you pay ”
