“This is my first time visiting Sterling Heights and I wanted to make sure my stay was safe, well taken care of, and respected.
My room was beautiful. It was perfect for 3 people, as a standard sized room. The room was well maintained as well as the building and its surrounding areas. The staff were courteous and very understanding of my needs. Breakfast was good and had many options. They had many parking spaces around the building as well as IHG Diamond guests only parking.”

“Staff was nice and room was clean, lots of channels on the tv. I liked the kitchen in the room, nice if needed. The only thing I would say is pets are allowed, and that’s not an issue most of the time but there was a dog in one of the very first rooms on the ground floor that would bark anytime anyone would walk by. Including at midnight… hopefully in the future they could maybe place animals towards the end of the hallways so there isn’t as much disruption. I try not to be too picky but there……

“We are here for a conference held in Huntington Place. The location is perfect for airport shuttle. The stop is right in front of the hotel and shuttle only costs $6. It is also walking distance to the downtown with a lot of restaurants. First floor has a deli shop for some basic groceries.”

“A beautiful and historic property that is unique and special in every way. The staff were delightful, friendly, helpful and generous. The furnishings exquisite and well maintained. There was a clean atmosphere that was a surprise given the age of the hotel, and it’s in a city that has lots of humidity where you normally would find a moldy smell there was none! Much appreciated for someone who has allergies.
I wish I didn’t have such a late check-in because I wasn’t able to appreciate all that……

“The front desk staff were fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about them. The bar/in hotel restaurant however might have been the worst service I’ve ever had. It took over 20 minutes to get a simple drink, and another 40 minutes to get our food, which was wrong/not what we ordered. The server was very polite (I don’t recall her name), but the wait times and lack of attention to detail was abysmal. The hotel and stay were wonderful, but I would never eat or get a drink there if I come back”

“Great hotel to stay at! We had an event at the DAC which was walking distance. All the staff at the hotel were wonderful! A cool, art deco vibe in the place. Rooms are tight. Hallways are dark. Both are part of the boutique vibe. The café in the lobby is great choice to pick up a coffee and light breakfast. We took our coffee outside to the relaxing garden with rod iron tables and chairs and enjoy the city in the morning. The Candy Bar is small, but very cool place to go for a drink!”
