The host family lives in another house on the same property, and are very nice and hospitable, while not being intruding in any way. "Lovely property in a fantastic location far from the Madding Crowd, not that we found a crowd anywhere we visited. The only problem we encountered was the aggressive mosquitoes which stopped us using the pool. Other than that it was a great week away."

"We had the most amazing time at Il Poggio! The property is well maintained, Roberta and Marina were incredible, and the location could not be beat. "I'm 72, and I can't say enough about what a wonderful stay I had at the Jino House. It seems like the perfect location. 20 minutes from Siena, and the train station in Siena, so that I could easily make daytrips by bus or train to Pisa, and Florence.
