“For the most part the place is clean just very outdated. My main complaint is that my room key kept deactivating. So two days in a row I got locked out and had to go get new keys”

“We’ve stayed at the Delafield Hotel about 5 times to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, and date nights. Our stay this time was for my husband’s birthday. We generally have a nice evening without complaints, but we weren’t so lucky this time. The first hiccup was when we were trying to enjoy a nice bath in the jacuzzi tub, which is why we chose this location, and a dog was barking non stop for about 40 minutes before we called the front desk. “This stay was the last checkpoint for our Midwest trip, the room itself was pretty nice, very cozy. but there are several unsatisfactory points. the pillow quality was really bad, it doesn't have a microwave. the bathroom has exhaust fans but does not work, We did contact guest service, and they did come, He looked around and told us that the bathroom itself did not have an exhaust fan.(yet there is literally a visible fan on top of them?) pretty unhappy since we had to stay there for 9 days.”
