“The staff was so helpful. We were going to arrive late and they made sure our guests were able to get a key and into the room. Housekeeping gave us extra towels!”

“Upon check in, our AC in the room wasn’t turned on and the sliding door was not completely shut so the room was probably about 80 degrees! Somehow the room was cleaned, AC shut off and door left cracked open! The property is OLD and WORN OUT! Stayed here about 10 years ago and it’s gone DOWNHILL in this amount of time! Best Western should be ashamed to call this a “Resort” of ANY kind!! Do not stay here! Plenty of decent places up and down the beach close by!!!”

“We had a few hiccups with cleanliness, missing towels, big cockroaches getting in, dryer had to be fixed, had to be fixed, and was provided with a yellow really old pillow pillows for the pullout. Overall, it was a good experience & the children enjoyed it.”

“So I liked the house. But the tv in the living room worked intermittently and the repairman brought one … not new that would go dark every so often where you could not see what was going on. They had to replace the entire light fixture in the kitchen and a few light bulbs on days 1 and 2. TV on day 4. Their shuttle service goes thru the ck in people in the office. They dropped us off at a restaurant and we were left to figure out how to get back. A flat on 1 Shuttle , they said they couldn’t……

“Overall, we had a great experience! Our room was very clean, and you could tell it had some newer, updated features, which made it very nice and comfortable. The view was absolutely stunning—we could see both the inlet and the ocean. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. The only suggestions I would have are to have more carts available for the tower closer to the inlet, as most of the carts seemed to be located at the main tower near the lobby. “Villa rooms were very dated and not very clean. Resort double booked me and was not helpful at all in resolving the problem. Two different guests who checked in before us also had problems with their reservations. We were locked out of our rooms after one trip to the car with our luggage even though it was two hours before check out time. We had to find a housekeeper to open the door to retrieve the rest of our luggage. We were told the staff must have entered the lock out time incorrectly.”
