“The room and the entire property were very well maintained and clean. The amenaties were absolutely wonderful as were the truffles and muffins at the front desk at checkin. The bottle of wine and snacks in the room were generous and of top quality. The fireplace and heated bathroom floor was a great bonus. The mattress was newer and also very nice. I travel a lot and I would rate this as A+. Grounds were nice, outside chairs on the wrap around deck were very comfortable and a nice touch. I would……

“Friendly and Helpful. Had a lovely room facing the Harbor and Lake. Quiet when I needed it. Had a spa day but it was very expensive. Loved the water aerobics class in the Spa, wish I could have done it each day but could not afford the spa more than 1 day. Ate at the main restaurant (240?) , delicious food with very good service and felt comfortable eating by myself there. Whirlpool was broken twice which was a disappointment Did not use arcade and fitness room Nice area to hop onto the……

“This small cabin was perfect for us: well-located and nicely stocked. We enjoyed our morning coffee on our porch and took advantage of the location, walking to the Geneva Lake Museum and lunch at Magpie's Den and Pen barely one mile away. We also enjoyed a "Best of the Lake" boat tour one day, and a drive around the entire lake the next, where we located a nearly 300-year-old White Oak tree on the grounds of the Yerkes Observatory (which we learned about in the museum). We also ate at the famous……

“This was a last minute get out of Chicago trip to Lake Geneva. Lots of great history and character. Never seen more people stop to take pictures of a hotel. There are only 6 rooms here so it is quite unique. It is truly like stepping back into history. The speakeasy bar is a fun experience. Hotel is walking distance from everything downtown. The property manager Cortney was welcoming and very helpful and lives on-site so very responsive. This is not a modern antiseptically clean, charmless……

“Loved the location and size and layout of the room. Very functional and spacious. Loved that you could get to the large bathroom from bedroom or living area. Full kitchen, Nice fireplace and big balcony. However the place really needs updating. The furniture and carpeting is cheap and dated. That was mostly cosmetic but the real issue was the bed - it was awful. Very squeaky and old. And the balcony furniture was dirty with cobwebs and had a few spiders. And $5 for a water bottle?? Really?……

“The Staff went above and beyond. Had dinner Saturday night at the Hunt Club. Which was excellent. I woke up Sunday morning and realized that I left my credit card at the restaurant. The Hunt Club does not open until 4:00pm. The hotel staff found someone who had access to the Hunt Club and went and got my card. After I had breakfast at the golf course restaurant on was on my way home at 10:00am.”
