“Was surprised by how large and well equipped my room was.”

“The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.”

“The property is undergoing minor renovations, that left my husband and other guests stuck in the elevator. There were no apologies nor concessions made in that unfortunate situation. Our visit was pleasant. ”

“Over priced. The parking charge is high. The shower is weak. ”

“Expedia sent me a message about my amenities and what was included for our stay. But the staff didn't seem to know anything about the information. There was a 10% discount for staying at the Royal Sonesta that was supposed to work for the WWII museum that ended up not working at all. We even asked the Concierge and he said use the code and it didn't work. That was disappointing.”

“The property is very outdated and needs a really good remodel done. The breakfast was tolerable, but nothing to brag about. The front clerks were nice and accommodating. The hotel is not one I plan to stay at again. It is conveniently located right off I-10 and access to Canal St/Bourbon St was cool. This hotel has potential, but needs a company that is willing to do the work to update it with compassion and care that works best for the patrons.”
